Museum
The Sitka Historical Society opened its museum to the public in 1967 in the newly built Harrigan Centennial Hall located in Sitka, Alaska’s historic downtown. The museum houses the collections, archives, and library, and also serves as the headquarters for the Sitka Historical Society. The museum contains a permanent exhibit and a rotating temporary exhibit.

Note: The museum will be closed from August 2015 to Fall 2017 as Harrigan Centennial Hall undergoes major renovations. The offices of the Executive Director and the Curator will remain open to the public.
